I agree to a point…though needing to die is extreme for me too. 

I enjoyed Eric and Sookie in season 4, up to a point. It started going sour for me, right around the time of the threesome dream.

TB Sookie is nothing like the strong character from the books. True Blood has made her become more like a ‘doormat’. Forgiving Bill? Book Sookie is made of smarter stuff than that. Too many characters? Too much going on? Yes, yes, yes!

Having SO MANY casting calls, characters, and storylines, means less screen-time for the actual stars of the series (Eric and Sookie). And that’s where Alan Ball has gone wrong. Bill and Sookie AREN’T the stars of the show. Instead, he should be focusing on Eric and Sookie. If he did that, I’d be happy.
